About pets, love and friendship

My unique and favorite pet is my dog named Jack. It is a small dog but a bit fat. It is black with brown spots. If I mention its form, you would guess its dog breed quickly since it is easy to identify. It is a small dog, with small legs in relation to the size of its body. It also has the shape of a sausage.
Indeed, my dog Jack is of the breed called teckel (in Spanish) or dachshund.

I have my dog since my dad gave it to my sister, since then we all have a great affection to our dog.
What I like most about it, is that he will always be by your side. He is also a very obedient dog. In addition, I like its funny shape, which makes it walk in a very funny way.

This shape is due to a genetic mutation called bassetism or canine achondroplasia. Achondroplasia (dwarfism) is a bone condition where bones do not grow at the expected average size of the breed. The result is abnormally short legs, or the condition of dwarfism.

The best holiday

I will tell you about my memorable holiday, which happened last year during my winter holidays. I choose these holidays because they have great sentimental value.

In winter season, to celebrate our 1 year relationship, my girlfriend and me, we went to olmue. Where we stayed in a great and beautiful cabin. In this place you can do it many activities, you can go to the heated pool and jacuzzi, to the massage center, to the activities around the campfire, and make bread kneading hahaha. We also had the opportunity to ride a bike and on horseback. We did trekking.
We did many things. It was a great opportunity this trip. We put all our savings to spend a great time together and stay with nice memories.

Currently, the two years of relationship have passed and we decided not to travel to save money, because for summer vacations we have planned to travel by plane out of the country. That has me very exciting, the only problem is to get all the money hahaha.

A country I would like to visit

I would very much like to go to London, but only on vacation. Actually I would not like to live in another country, either for work or study, since I am a person who likes to be surrounded by friends and family.

London is a heterogeneous and fascinating city with some of the best tourist places and attractions in the world. There is so much to do that it is difficult to travel all the activities that London offers, its museums and monuments, to make excursions, to take boat trips, to visit the great parks and all the architecture that this enormous city delivers.
London is the capital and the city of England and the United Kingdom. This country, which was founded by the Romans, still conserves areas with a medieval atmosphere. It is considered a global city, for the great power in the field of arts, commerce, education, entertainment, finance, research, tourism and transport.

What most impresses me about this country is the large number of tourist sites offered, for example: the Tower of London, the House of Somerset, Hyde Park or Richmond Park, Chelsea Stadium, the London Eye, its beautiful churchs, the buckingham palace and the large number of museums.





If I had enough money I would like to visit the vast majority of its attraccions, but without hesitation, I would like to get into the London Eye. The view a must be beautiful, considering all the buildings of city.

EVALUATION OF MY BLOGGING EXPERIENCE

My opinion of the activities of this course ... first I said that I was very much in agreement with the opinion of the teacher ... the results obtained from the students depend on the commitment that the students have in the university subject. I will not deny it, my commitment for the subject was not 100%. Therefore, if I had put more commitment, my results had been better. However, it is not that I want to have an excuse, but in my opinion: this semester (for me) was a very difficult semester with a lot of load and stress. It could be said that if I had more time, I had put more commitment to this subject, since one of my goals is to learn English.

In relation to my writing skills, it could be said that they have improved. It is not that I write without problem, but I have had an improvement. Even if my commit and my available time were greater, my skills will improve even more.

In the future, it will include an activity to replace the blogs. This activity consists of making videos of 5 or 10 minutes, where the students must record themselves talking with any person (friend, relative, companion, etc.). Perhaps the results are best that with the blogs.

Even so, the topics of the blogs are fine, I could say that the topics should be of free choice, but if so, I would not have the imagination to make a blog.

FAVOURITE SERIES, MOVIE OR BOOK

What is my favorite book, series or movie?

It's a difficult question to answer for me, since I'm not a fan of books, movies or series. I am not one of the people who are always reading a book. With respect to the TV series, I have seen some but I never finish seeing its end. And about the movies, I do not have a favorite. However, the best movies I've seen are the "Avengers" movies. Each one of them, they are fantastic. In general, all marvel movies are good movies. The first "Avengers" movie was in 2012, it was written and directed by Joss Whedon. This American superhero movie is part of the marvel movie universe, which links several films, such as "Iron Man", the incredible "Hulk", "Thor" and "Captain America". In The Avengers, Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization known as SHIELD, recruits Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America to form a team. The group must stop Thor's brother, Loki, to prevent the destruction of the planet. I like this movie because it contains a lot of action, plot and special effects that keep me watching the whole movie.

A SUBJECT YOU ENJOY STUDYING THIS SEMESTER

Hello dear readers, today I have to write something that for many is stressful: university subjects. Especially I will talk about my favorite subjetc and the reason why I chose it.

This is Pharmacology, I chose this subject because it is one of the first subject most linked to my career, since most of the subject I have had do not have much relation (in my opinion), except for some. Pharmacology is a complicated field, where you must have a good memory since it has many contents. For me and many companion, we consider the tests of this subject very difficult, we all have the fear of not passing the subject hahaha.

In classes, we have seen various introductory contents to make way for the world of pharmacy. In class we begin with the pharmacokinetic processes that most drugs undergo: absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion. In addition, we have seen the classification of pharmaceutical forms: enteral, parenteral and topical. We have learned to know and identify the stages of a clinical trial and many other things. In short, it is a difficult but interesting field. In the future I would like to be an assistant in this subject.

AN EXPERT ON YOUR FIELD

The truth is I'm not sure which person of my field I admire. However, I think a good example to follow Professor Jenniffer Ávalos. Maybe many do not know her, but I assure you that you will know her and also admire her as I do.

In 2005, she entered the career of chemistry and pharmacy in the faculty of chemical and pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Chile. In 2011 she entered the PhD program in Pharmacology at the same faculty. In 2015 she won the "for Women in science" award for her outstanding research studies and contributions to the world of science.

Currently she is dedicated to teaching and mainly to studies with cancer cells. Nowadays, she is taking a post doctorate at the Catholic University. I chose her because it is a model to follow. I like the way in which she teaches, in fact, because of her, I was interested in dedicating myself to teaching. The day you meet her, you will remember me. I do not know someone who does not like Professor Jenniffer Avalos.
